When Virginia asked me if I wanted to do a craft show with her, I thought “Maybe.” We talked about it. You know the When, Where, How Much, and all of that and her excitement got me excited, so we jumped in feet first!
Those of you who have done craft shows, do you remember your thoughts after committing to your first show?
“Do I have enough stuff to sell?”
“How do I lay out the table to present my stuff?”
“Will people buy anything from me?”
“Are my prices too high?”
“What have a gotten myself into?!?”
Yeah, I know there are others besides me that went through the array of emotions like me. It was pretty stressful figuring how to label or tag my items, how to display everything, where to get tables, how many tables…
Fast forward to setting up the night before the show.
Virginia and I began setting up our tables and putting our stuff out. After about an hour and a half, we had our tables full and still had more stuff to put out! What silly person ever worried about having enough stuff… LOL!
The day of the show, we were both a bit anxious and excited.
Overall, it was a fun – and busy – day. I talked live on the radio, we talked to a lot of really great people, and did pretty good on sales!
and Sierra and Virginia (far right).
I do have to give a lot of thanks to Jeff, Virginia’s fiance, who drove back and forth and toted in and out and brought us coffee throughout this whole thing 🙂
This craft show was back in November, but I wanted to share. It was a great experience that taught each of us a lot about people, locations, price points, and our stuff.
We will definitely be better prepared for our next show 😉

Thanks for sharing your Craft Show experience!! You sure had quite a choice of items too. Know I would’ve been a customer!! 🙂 Very nicely set up & displayed…you & your friend did Awesome job!
