A customer contacted me about making a quilt for her son toward the end of last summer. She wanted it to be Spider-Man and large enough to at least cover a twin bed. I thought this would be fun because I haven’t made a super hero quilt before.

For some reason, after I completed the quilt, I never too any photos. I backed it with a black smooth minky and used red jelly roll strips for the binding. I quilted a spider web over the whole quilt.
I got the guy mailed on time for her to give to her son for Christmas. I did get a note telling me how much her little guy loves his quilt! 🙂
I know that this was a project that has been completed for a few months, but I am so happy at how it turned out and was so excited that her little guy loves it. I didn’t tell her about the glow-in-the-dark part until she received it. I wanted that part to be an extra surprise 😉
Hope you enjoyed seeing Spider-Man in a quilty context!
