Bowl Cozies

I made some bowl cozies for the craft show I did in the fall and was surprised at how well they sold. After the holidays, I decided I would start to build my inventory of cozies back up.

After folding and marking all the darts, I kept watching the folded cozy pile go down and the darted pile go up! It’s one of those things that you just can’t stop because you need to do one more and another and before you know it, your stack is beginning to look like bowls!

I used Fat Quarters from my stash to make this batch of cozies, so there are many different prints. From Christmas to summer, from sailing to gardening.

Even though this batch has been completed, I always have another batch in the works. As I go through my fabric stash looking for just the right print for a current project, I will see a smaller piece and trim it to size. As I cut fabric for projects, I have been cutting cozy pieces, too.

So even though this stack is complete and I can mark it off my list, I end up adding bowl cozies to my list further down as I get enough fronts and backs matched up for another batch.

After this Covid-19 situation, I’ll let you know when the next craft show is so you can check these cozies out in person.

Stay safe and healthy out there!
Becki 🙂
