I did some procrastinating on prepping T-shirt’s for a quilt, and started a new project. I’ve had this pattern, honey bun, and layer cake roll set aside for a while now.
The layer cake has 2 of each fabric, so I got 4 large half-hexagons of each. In an attempt to keep them blocks as scrappy as I could, I made 4 hexi stacks.
keep the fabrics all mixed up and scrappy
until you get closer and view in a different perspective…
There wasn’t a lot of fabric scraps left, but more than I like to waste. So I did put the pile in a bag and will pass on to my mom who has been making some really cool QAYG blocks… And she just loves fabric scraps 😉
Well, I better get back to prepping T-shirts for that quilt.
