In the world we live in today, there never seems as though there are enough hours in the day any more. Not that there ever were. But I suppose the moment you realize this, the whole Self Care concept should become more of a priority.
For me, I did some Self Care by forgetting about all the assignments I needed to grade – The assignments I hadn’t completed to give to my students the following week – That the house needed cleaning – Laundry needed done – I think you get what I mean… and decided to mark one of the projects off my list.
So I got myself in the zone, and finished this lovely ‘Geranium’ quilt top.
in a photo without getting my “organized” sewing room š

I had to lay the quilt top over the loveseat to try and get it all in the photo. Had to round the corners to hide shoes and stuff hehehe.
I have to say, I feel so much better after having taken time for myself. I think I may be doing some more Self Care in the near future…
