I while back I found this well loved over quilt at an antique shop in Indiana. After I was back home and going through all my fun finds, I had spread the quilt out on the kitchen floor to get a good look at it.
I’m not sure what was used for the center batting, but this quilt if kindof heavy. Heavier than the other throw quilts I’ve made or seen this size. But heavy or not, it has been a keeper.
I have to say, the kitties are really good at only using and claiming quilts in the living room or bedroom. They know not to bother me when I’m in the sewing room ironing or quilting. (They think I’ll sew their tails up, hehehe)
