In one of my BOMs from Cotton Cuts, I received this business card size template. For the most part, I just kept moving it around my sewing table not sure what to do with it.
One evening, while making potholders, it occurred to me that this teeny tiny template was just what I needed to help make my inner squares even! By measuring from the edge of the potholder to where I put my needle down, helped me to stop at the corners at just the right spot. Genius, right?! Let me show you…

to the edge (indicated by chop stick).
I grab my template and place it at the correct measurement
then carefully continue to sew until my needle gets
to the edge of template.

Fronts shown center and backs far right.
Though, either could be front or back.
So if you have one of these teeny tiny templates hanging around, here’s one great use for it. Please let me know what you use yours for.
If you don’t have one and want one, contact Cotton Cuts on their site or help@cottoncuts.com (this info in on the template, too š )
Until next time,
