Teeny Tiny Template

In one of my BOMs from Cotton Cuts, I received this business card size template. For the most part, I just kept moving it around my sewing table not sure what to do with it.

One evening, while making potholders, it occurred to me that this teeny tiny template was just what I needed to help make my inner squares even! By measuring from the edge of the potholder to where I put my needle down, helped me to stop at the corners at just the right spot. Genius, right?! Let me show you…

This is the Teeny Tiny Template from Cotton Cuts.

I measure from my needle in the down position,
to the edge (indicated by chop stick).

and Viola! The inner quilted square is centered perfectly!

So if you have one of these teeny tiny templates hanging around, here’s one great use for it. Please let me know what you use yours for.

If you don’t have one and want one, contact Cotton Cuts on their site or help@cottoncuts.com (this info in on the template, too šŸ˜‰ )

Until next time,
