A few weeks or more back, I shared my “Mom & Me” quilt that I finished. This is mom’s version that she recently finished.
1″ scraps sewn together to make up the tiny border.
The pattern is the Double Slice Layer Cake Quilt by MSQC, same as mine. The choices of fabric lines make them look so differently!
Mom has made many other small sized quilts and quilt tops since, but this is the first one she has completely done from start to finish. She did all the quilting. Made the binding, and then finished it up by sewing the binding on!

Didn’t she do such a great job?! I am so proud of her 😍 She did awesome!! I know she is very happy with how the quilt turned out and pretty impressed that it was all her ☺️
She was so excited that she dug around in her stash to find the perfect backing for another beautiful top she has had done. I’ll share those later 😉
