Last summer a stray kitty wondered up and decided she wanted to make us her humans. She was friendly and let us pet here, so we didn’t worry much about her being around.
After a week or so we noticed she wasn’t as skinny and thought we had “fattened” her up. Well, after a few more weeks, that “fattening up” was more about her being pregnant, not us feeding her so well.
Fast forward–Cali had 5 babies last summer. One is now my baby brother’s spoiled kitty, and the other 4 are still here chasing squirrels, hiding in the leaves, and just being sweet silly kitties.
This little guy, Wilder, loved to hide in the leaves and jump out at you. We try to keep the leaves in this little pile, but they always have them spread all over. But when it is in a pile, this is what happens…
Clyde noticed the leaves moving and had to come see what was going on lol.
They have played in this pile of leaves until they were basically mulched. This last week of rain and snow, though, has pretty much finished their pile off.
