These mermaid dolls are from a cut and sew panel. The Sea & Me is a sweet under the sea themed collection designed by Stacy Iest Hsu for Moda.
I was pretty apprehensive about sewing and stuffing the dolls and procrastinated for quite a while. But when I finally pressed forward and began working on them, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly and easily they each came together!
The tails, totes, and lil friends came together quickly and were fun to make! The directions are clear and simply written to easily walk you through creating each piece.
Once all the pieces were complete, I had fun putting on the mermaid tails, tucking the lil friends into the totes, and seeing them all complete and ready to be played with! It reminded me of when I was little playing dolls 🙂
