Candy Splash Quilt Finished

Mom made the quilt top from a charm pack in the summer of ’21. She was worse than me with laying out the squares, moving them around, and then moving them around again so I get it honestly ☺️

This quilt is one charm pack laid out with a 3″ border of pink cotton.

After sandwiching with a soft white flannel, I used an extra loft scrap of batting, which was just the right size for this Candy Splash quilt.

I decided to straight line quilt using my walking foot because of how fluffy the quilt was after I sandwiched it.

I cut the binding from some Lime yardage. It gave the Candy Splash quilt just the right kind of finish 😁

I have washed and dried this lovely baby quilt, but haven’t had a chance to get photos of it all finished. Hopefully the weather will cooperate soon and I’ll share the photos.
