Rag Rugs

Country Rag Rug

Folks who know me, know I like to re-purpose and reuse fabric, T-shirts, sheets, and just about anything. I had a set of queen size sheets that I had tucked in the back of our linen closet and when cleaning the closet out one day, it occurred to me to turn these into a rug.

It even traveled to Ohio with me. I worked on it at my baby brother’s house while winding down from a busy day of spending time with family making heart memories.

This rug seemed to want to keep growing, because the strips in my tote never seemed to deplete.

One day, while catching up on my DVR shows, I finally emptied my tote and completed this lovely Country Rag Rug!

I haven’t measured the rug, but I will guess it is approximately just under 3 feet wide by a little more than 4 foot tall. After I snapped these 2 photos, I threw the rug into the wash and it washed up great!!
