Monday night paint night at Dick and Jane’s in Mebane was so much fun!
Lauri Daughtry of Bottles & Brushes makes us all feel like talented painters. She gets us started and gives us little tips and suggestions throughout the night. She will help us fix our boo boos, or in some cases will “show” you how to do it 😉 No matter what, Lauri is always encouraging and complementing our progress.
Lauri has each canvas prepared with a light pencil drawing. So if you have never done this, you will not be looking at a blank canvas and have reason to panic, which makes this my kind of painting 🙂
We all chose to paint gnomes, but it was really neat to see how each of us painted them so differently.
Such a wonderfully fun night! I cannot wait to do it again.
