This is my story… I couple years back I helped my step-daughter make a purse out of fat quarters for her mom. I cut the pieces and she sewed the strips together. We then had to lay a pattern on the strips and cut it out, which left these really big pieces of the pieced strips.
So after hanging on to them for a couple years, I decided I could figure out something to do with them. I cut off the weird tiny pieces and decided to make potholders!

I sandwiches the pieces with InsulBright and clipped together. If you’ve never used these quilting clips, you have to try them! I absolutely love using them!
Sorry, went on a tangent ;p So here they are! They ended up being half circles! Pretty cool huh? I sewed a diamond in the center of each and call them the Diamond and Dots Potholders. I just freehand sewed the diamonds, so I’m not sure if that is considered FMQ or not, but they turned out really cool!

So here they are! I am pretty happy with how they turned out!

Great potholders!! Love the prints & colors!! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
